Qualification Fights (K-1 Rules)

Shamil Abasov (Russia) def. James Phillips (Germany) - via decision

23 years old fighter, Shamil Abasov has won the fight after he controlled his opponent with powerful punches. James Phillips got more leg kicks to keep a safe distance.

Mladen Brestovac (Croatia) def. Koos Wessels (Holland) - via decision

Mladen Brestovac demonstrated that it is the ColliZion Budapest and Croatia Champion and he done a good job, showing that he is one of the most technical fighters. His opponent was tired in the final round.

Mounir Zechnini (Morocco) def. Tibor Nagy (Hungary) - via decision

Mounir has came in Romania to do a spectacular match against his opponent and won every round.

Mihaita Golescu (Romania) def. Petr Vondracek (Czech Republic) - via decision

Doesn’t been the most successful struggle for Peter Vondracek and he was down in round 3, but Czech fighter gave emotions to his opponent on the final when he has an high kick directly on Golescu’s beard.

Alexandru Lungu (Romania) def. Justice Smith (U.S.A.) – via submission

Lungu was getting his opponent down and then passed to the control side and then followed a few blows to the body opponent. Lungu moves up to his opponent and then pressed his opponent with his chest, forcing Smith to abandon the fight. Time 00:57 of First Round.

Super Fights (K-1 Rules)

Raul Catinas (Romania) def. Dzevad Poturak (Bosnia) – via decision

“Daniel Ghita and Catalin Morosanu are good fighters but Raul it’s young and he can be better then them” said Poturak before the fight. And Raul has wanted to prove that he is right. Very entertaining first round and audience exploded when Poturak was down. A superb jab with left hand for Raul. In the final booth fighters wanted to do show for the audience and they scream at one other.

Catalin Morosanu (Romania) def. Mighty Mo (U.S.A.) – via decision

Morosanu has a better start then his opponent but Mo controlled the second round and Morosanu escaped from a knock down. Catalin do his most technique fight in his career and the decision goes to an extra round. In the last 3 minutes Mo was tired and he don’t hit at all.

Alexey Ignashov (Belarus) def. Ron Sparks (U.S.A.) – KO R2

Easy fight for Ignashov agains a former MMA fighter. He controlled the fight with more low leg kicks. Ron was counted in second round and after that he earned a superb high kick and was down. Ron needs 5 minutes to recover and stand up.

Freddy Kemayo (France) def. Roman Kleibl (Czech Republic) – KO R2

Kemayo had problems in the first round and he was mowing a few times by his opponent low kicks. In the second round Kemayo reduced distance from opponent and managed to surprise his opponent with a knee kick.

Mighty Mo : Crowds knows I came here to fight.

Raul Catinas : It was a difficult fight against a strong opponent like Poturak, I was honored to fight him and tanks God I won and in one day with His help I will be K-1 Champion.

Mihaita Golescu : I wish much to fight a valuable opponent, I win and I’m happy and now I want to go and win the Prague 8 man tournament.

Catalin Morosanu : Mo was the strongest opponent was natural that I was scared of him. I went with the second chance was 10 per cent chance of winning.
