Bob Sapp confirmed in an interview with MMAWeekly.com that he will re-enter Dream’s Super Hulk Tournament. Sapp will replace an injured Gegard Mousasi against Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou. The semi-finals will take place on Oct. 6 at Dream 11.

On Wednesday reports surfaced that Gegard Mousasi would not participate due to injury. The new Strikeforce champion apparently injured his shoulder during his exhibition bout with WAMMA heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko.

In the first round of the tournament, Ikuhisa Minowa eliminated Sapp. Sokoudjou defeated South Africa’s Jan Nortje via technical knockout. Both fights took place at Dream 9 on May 26. In the other half of the bracket, Hong Man Choi will take on Ikuhisa Minowa for a spot in the finals.

Dream has also revealed that the finals will take place at this year’s Dynamite! Show. Dynamite! Is FEG’s traditional New Year’s Eve card.

Dream 11 will be highlight by a lightweight title fight between champion Joachim Hansen and Shinya Aoki. The card will also feature the semi-finals and finals of Dream’s featherweight tournament. Bibiano Fernandes will take on Joe Warren, while Hiroyuki Takaya will fight Hideo Tokoro. Dream also recently announced that Gesias Calvancante is set to face Daisuke Nakamura.
