 SINGAPORE, 19 August 2008 – MP & Silva (MPS), a leading international sports marketing agency, announced today that they have entered into a five-year agreement with FEG Inc (Fighting and Entertainment Group) to be its exclusive worldwide media rights partner from 2009 to 2013.
Under this exclusive agreement, MP & Silva acquires the international distribution rights (except Japan, South Korea, and the United States of America) for events organized by FEG Inc such as K-1 World GP, K-1 World Max, Dream, and Premium Dynamite. These combat sports are one of the world's largest and most popular martial arts series which showcases different forms of martial arts such as traditional Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Karate, Taekwondo, Savate and San Shou as well as other martial arts.
The agreement marks the second time that MPS is teaming up with FEG Inc, after the agency helped K-1 World Grand Prix Series (GP) Series, K-1 World MAX Series, Dream, and Premium Dynamite establish and expand its international footprint to over 135 countries, and secured key deals in primary markets in Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and Asia. The expanded partnership will now see the Singapore-based agency charged with the global distribution of all K-1 events, which includes fights from its four brands – K-1 World Grand Prix (GP) Series, K-1 World MAX Series, DREAM, and Premium Dynamite!!.
